About Me

My life began 6000 miles away in Far East Russia. At 16 months old I was adopted and brought home along with my brother to call Tennessee my home. My musical journey started when I was just four at the Blair School of Music as part of my academic studies. My love of music quickly became a passion and at the age of 15, along with my siblings, I continued my classical training at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Musics’ Starling pre-college program. I continued to grow and learn there and had the honor of sitting as the second chair in the Starling Chamber Orchestra.

In addition to classical music, I also branched out into commercial genres, studying jazz, blues, and bluegrass under Billy Contreras, who's worked with icons like George Jones, Crystal Gayle, Hank Williams III, and Béla Fleck. His teaching rekindled my love for all kinds of music and helped me to expand my skills on both the fiddle and mandolin.

Alongside this, I toured with my siblings as the lead singer and violinist of our band, The Jolly String Quartet. This prompted me to hone existing skills and acquire new ones in many areas of the music business. I gained experience in live sound engineering, production management, photography, filmmaking, soldering, instrument maintenance, rig building, stage design, lighting, and more. We were blessed with the opportunity to perform on renowned stages at venues such as The Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Auditorium, Country Music Hall of Fame, Carnegie Hall, Cannery Ballroom, and Sand Mountain Amphitheater.

My passion is helping others realize their creative vision using the skills and talents I've been blessed with and honoring God in all I do. I’m always excited to meet new people, learn new things, create beautiful art, and tell stories. My love for music is not just a profession but a calling, and I'm dedicated to helping you bring your creative ideas to life, whether on stage or in the studio.

I look forward to the opportunity to collaborate with you.

-Gorsha

He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD.
